Camila Neves is a surf photographer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For many years, she worked as a fashion designer, and in cinema and publicity. In 2012, I left my her regular routine, looking for something more fulfilling. What she found was already living somewhere deep inside her: photography. Her passion began when she was a little kid. She have always had a camera by her side, and she wanted to become a National Geographic photographer – she loved to take photos of animals, and still does. He first experience with surf photography was in Barbados 2011, and by 2012 she realized her true passion and purpose in life was photographing big waves. Since then, she's traveled all over the world chasing the biggest swells and the most perfect conditions for big wave riding. And of course, that's not Camila. That's Groove, Camila's dog.
