My research explores the distribution and habitat use of fishes in a variety of deep-sea ecosystems in the Northwest Atlantic and Eastern Canadian Arctic. Using a combination of video and trawl survey data, I relate spatial patterns in abundance to abiotic and biotic variables to explore fish-habitat relationships in both mesopelagic and deep benthic environments.
