Bridget Reedman grew up surfing the rugged coastlines of New Zealand, on flax lined black sand beaches where four people constituted a crowd. After designing an education around surfing (studying coastal science and geography) a trans-Tasman change of scenery led her to the waves of Manly, Sydney to battle crowds, bluebottles and parking fines. The good life. Joining the Coastalwatch family to hone her journalistic skills, Bridget’s interest lies in environmental issues, the art, culture and people of surfing.
