I am a Great Lakes surfer who can barely read or write. I like soccer but I call it football because the rest of planet Earth does. Back in Michigan, I was studying Geography, specifically Geographical Information Systems (GIS). I bailed on that because following your passion and doing what makes you happy is extremely important. So I picked up a camera and started shooting everything I could. I enjoy all types of photography but am keen for surf, snowboard, outdoor lifestyle, and landscapes. Currently, I am living in New York interning at a magazine and working at Burton Snowboards. I’ve done a fair bit of travel but don't think it is ever enough because of how much one can learn from other people and cultures. I am eating dollar slice pizza right now because I am so tired and hungry and don't feel like cooking. If you come to New York, try dollar slice pizza but find the good slices, not the bad ones…
