I am a 25-year-old Australian, mid-way through a surf trip from Alaska to Patagonia. Originally a qualified mechanical engineer, life in the Australian coal mines prompted me to trade it all for two years on the road in the Americas. My interest in photography started when I was 19 years old. I picked up a Panasonic Lumix for weekend road trips and was gripped by the passion of capturing moments of perfection. Photographing the oceanic lifestyle and surf-based travel is where I draw the majority of my enjoyment and inspiration. Currently, photography is still a hobby but I’m hoping to find a career in it somewhere down the track. As a solo traveller, I draw immense pleasure from sharing what fascinates me as I drive south to Patagonia, and I can only hope it motivates people to find that sense of adventure in themselves.
