Ashley Norris is the author of the children’s book Queenie Wahine, little surfer girl. It is the first of the Tribe of Daughters book series that features little girls in action adventure sports (surfing, skating, and snowboarding). Ashley grew up in North Carolina, with her sisters, surfing and fishing on the Outer Banks. Today, Ashley and her husband are raising their two daughters to share their love and respect for the ocean. It is Ashley’s mission to get little girls interested in action adventure sports and to show girls the strength, athleticism, and grace that they bring to sports.
