Allison Kendro was born in Philadelphia, and started surfing in New Jersey at the age of nine. She picked up a sponsor at 14, and finished fifth NSSA East Coast Championships at age 21. Until recently, she was a Marketing professional at a top world advertising agency. Now she runs SOLID Surf and Adventure from Nicaragua.
