Rocky Point is an amazing wave. It’s a little more accessible to the average surfer than somewhere like Pipeline or Sunset — in this case, “accessible” means “easier” — but it’s about as high-quality as high-quality gets. The North Shore is a fun place to surf, not only because of the waves, but because you’ll often share the lineup with some of the best surfers in the world. Like Mason Ho, for example.
Mason and childhood friend Sheldon Paishon recently paddled out to Rockies on a very, very fun looking day. Filmed over the course of two-ish sessions, the edit is pretty much raw. And the surfing within is top-shelf.
