The Superbank earned its name for a reason. And this spring in Australia, The Bank has been more Super than usual. That has created two notable issues: first, plenty of surf rage as the crowds have grown wild. And second, some really good surfers nabbing very long barrels that look like they belong in a surf park.
Seb Chadwick who runs the aptly named YouTube channel Surf with Seb Chadwick, captured all of the mayhem. After some incredible looking solo rides, the surf rage recap begins at around the 7:48 mark. Just be forewarned: there are some egregious drop-ins, snaking of waves the likes of which could only be seen on this stretch of Australian sand, and pretty much just inconsiderate watermanship.
But it makes for good viewing. And believe you me, we know how much you all enjoy watching surf rage caused by a lack of wave savvy. Or because of it.
