The margin for error in wingsuit flying is so tiny. Pilots are flying extremely close to the ground (hence the name “proximity flying”), that any little gust of wind could throw them off line.
But the footage they capture is otherworldly. This set of vids, from a line in Chamonix called “Cheese Grater” and filmed by Carlos Pedro Briceño, follows a mountain creek as it crumbles down valley, making the angle look extra intense.
