Ring of Fire is a series we’ve been proud to run here on The Inertia thanks to filmer Nick Cahill and friends, and their mission to tackle as many of the volcanoes in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California as they can in 30 days, while road tripping in Nick’s blue converted school bus. Episode four took us to Mt. Hood in northern Oregon, where the team hiked and splitboarded 4,000 vertical feet and were treated to a 7,000-foot descent on the other side and a well-deserved rest day with some time for reflection in the Hood Rainforest afterwards.
In episode five, things have changed a bit with Tailer dropping out due to her injury from episode three. Nick also takes off for a quick work trip, leaving Danny on his own for a bit, but Danny makes the most of it, joining four ripping females to take on Mt. Jefferson, and checking one off the list for the team. Nick returns in time to continue north with Danny and three of the ladies to Mt. Adams, an overnight trip that provides some of the best turns along their journey.
Stay tuned, as we’ll be dropping the rest of the episodes on a bi-weekly basis, here on The Inertia.
