In case you haven’t noticed, El Niño has been puking waves out of the Pacific Ocean the last couple months. Nonstop. And everything has been “XXL this” and “time to get pitted” that in the surf world.
It’s all been so crazy, so filled with adrenaline, that many may have forgotten the simple joy of a morning longboard session on a small day…or maybe that’s just me. But when it comes to sliding and gliding on a longboard few people do it better than Kelia Moniz. In fact, watching her cruise on a few lazy Malibu peelers is enough to remind us all that life won’t be so bad after all this El Niño madness settles down.
