You’re pretty stoked if you live in California this year. Granted, we’re less than a full two weeks into 2016 but as far as surfing goes it’s been an embarrassment of riches in the wave count category here. Not surprisingly, nobody is really surfed out. Which is why you can wake up any day of the week for the past week or so and know you’re not in on some major secret the rest of the world hasn’t caught yet. Everybody knows there are waves, and we’re all crawling out of bed early and paddling out appropriately. It’s almost gotten to the point where each day feels the same, only this is in a completely awesome sense.
And that’s why it’s awesome that San Diego filmmaker Kyle Jetter made a point to title this clip appropriately: Tuesday Mornings. You know, in case you’ve lost track of which day(s) of the week you got barreled.
