You know all those times you were so late for work that you just didn’t have time to spend an extra three minutes taking your wetsuit off? No? Me neither.
But someone over at Quiksilver does, and they came up with a solution. Suits (jacket, pants, shirt and tie) all made from neoprene. That’s right: the entire suit is a wetsuit.
The jacket and pants are made from 2 mm neoprene, which, if nothing else, makes for a damn good skinny pant, which ia . The shirt, though, is made of a material developed by Quik and 3M, the Post It people. Even the tie is neoprene. One can only imagine how hot it would be sitting in traffic.
Speaking of price, you’re probably wondering just how much a wetsuit suit is. How much for a tailored chunk of neoprene that you wouldn’t ever wear either in the ocean or the office? Well, according to the website, around ¥300,000, which according to Google is somewhere in the range of $2,500. But that’s the price of fashion, right?
