It’s not every day that a surfer is almost hit by a Jet Ski. It’s also not every day that a surfer is almost bitten by a shark. It’s even less common for both of those things to happen in the span of about 10 seconds, but for the unlucky guy in the video above… well, they both happened in the span of about 10 seconds.
While it’s a sure thing he probably muttered a few curse words at the Jet Ski operator, it’s tough to tell whether he knew the shark was there. After kicking his leg out to spin and paddle for a wave, the shark veers away, probably more scared by the surfer than anything else, and he surfs off into the sunset, but damn, was that ever close.
