Surfing is strange. There are a million incredibly talented surfers in the water, but only a handful of them have names most people know. Sean Mawson is a name you probably don’t know… but you should. He’s been knocking around the scene for a few years now, collecting praise from legends like Craig Anderson (who said he had a very relaxed style) and Russel Bierke (who called him the most underrated surfer out there back in 2015).
Otherwise known as Sea Mullet, Mawson’s cruisey style in the face of some very serious waves of consequence is a sight to behold.
