Someone just had to do a spoof on Anastasia’s dance. After all, it’s had over 4 million views and comments which have sparked cyber warfare, instigated some very soggy computer screens and given yet another reason to highlight the current controversy of the over sexualization of women’s surfing and sport in general. I wanted to bring in some humor and shed some light on the situation as we don’t get to see much of this on the women’s side of the industry.
I did this at the Boardmasters event in the UK this past week. Unfortunately, my moves didn’t help out too much as I took home a second place finish. Disclaimer: Anastasia’s a friend of mine and it is not directed towards her with any malice.
