“When it’s winter in Brittany and the forecast is pretty crappy for the whole week, well, you tell yourself that adventure awaits,” says French pro surfer Ian Fontaine. FUN FIRST is a new series, featuring Ian on the hunt for abandoned waves. In episode one, Ian and the Manera crew head to what’s called the “Acid Left,” a wild-looking jetty wave that you could acid-drop onto if you have knees of steel and a board to match.
