I’m a 23-year-old photographer from Wollongong, NSW, Australia. I picked up my first camera when I was 19 and the bond was set. I’ve always been captivated by the multifariousness of the ocean. Having grown up in a fisherman’s family, I’ve been taught to respect every aspect of the deep blue and its ability to make one feel complete insignificance in the scheme of existence. This appreciation allows me to seek refuge in the water; a place to escape from the normality of everyday life, a place to ponder on oneself. I work six days a week as an industrial electrician and have one day to myself. Despite the dragging feeling of incarceration, I certainly try to make the most of the light available. To all my friends: Yes, I do have a day job.
