Owen Wright is back in fighting shape and ready for the 2014 World Tour. After being told to stay dry for four months and being yanked off the tour for the rest of the season, he had a big pill to swallow and a long road to follow back.
After plenty of training, doctors appointments and staying mum about his recovery process, he has people talking, other surfers concerned and a bright year ahead of him having locked down an injury wildcard for 2014. Jadson Andre believes, “he’s going to be one of the toughest guys to compete [against] next year.”
