People do some crazy things on surfboards. Take Ryan Hipwood, for instance. This wave at Shipstern Bluff is not a friendly wave. It is not, by any means, a wave that looks “fun”, at least not in the normal sense of the word. Perhaps to Hippo it’s fun (and it must be, because he’s been through this countless times)… and we’re glad if it is, because it sure is fun to watch.
