Nathan Florence is a wildman. Of course, you know his brother John John a little better, but Nathan is a little more intent of chasing giant waves than world titles. Remember this little bit of impossibility?
So here’s the story with the Mav’s wipeout above. Back in January, the younger Florence headed to California’s most famous big wave spot to get a few cold water bombs under his belt. Blakeney Sanford happened to be on hand with a camera to catch the action, and he filmed Florence’s unfortunate elevator drop. You can bet that Florence isn’t deterred, though. We’re going to see a lot more excitement from him in the future.
