You might not think about them while you’re surfing, but if you actually encountered one, you’d be scared of sharks.
Mick Fanning’s mum was sitting up watching her son in the final heat of J-Bay on television. It was late. She was tired. She was rooting for her son. And then she watched in horror as her son was knocked off his board by a large white shark. In the interview above, she recounts the whole experience.
