Broken jaw, stitches over an eye, and a puncture wound to the neck — but Laurie Towner will the first to tell you that he is “all good.” The Australian is well aware that if the circumstances had been even the slightest bit different, he may not be here telling you his story. Basically, one of the heaviest tubes in the world closed out on him, and he was sent into one of the gnarliest spin-cycles of his life, smashing his head into the reef, causing him to lose consciousness.
