The Inertia

Kelly Slater clinched an unprecedented tenth ASP World Title after winning his quarterfinal heat against Adriano De Souza at the 2010 Rip Curl Pro Search Somewhere in Puerto Rico.

To punctuate his monumental accomplishment, Slater defeated Bede Durbidge to claim his 45th ASP World Tour victory, securing a ten-point ride during the final. With the resolution of the 2010 ASP standings, the natural order of the professional surfing world seems restored.
