According to your (old) school gym teacher, adequate exercise consists of about 45-60 minutes of an elevated heart rate. Apparently, Kai Lenny never got the memo. Or he went pro at too many to choose. Either way, the 21-year-old Hawaiian multi-sport board wizard and youngest ever Eddie Aikau Invitational invitee has no problem staying active.
As he puts it, he “…usually has four to five sport days because I can’t decide what I wanna do.” Not a bad life, if you can hack it. Fortunately, he can and we get to watch as he surfs, kitesurfs, kiteboards, tow surfs and SUPs all over Maui. But don’t let watching substitute for your own exercise. Get out there, grab a board and do it yourself.
