Just when you thought you’ve seen it all, you haven’t. Garrett McNnamara and his tow partner Keali’i Mamala surfed giant waves today at Praia do Norte in Nazaré, Portugal, and the photographic evidence has been streaming in via Billabong XXL’s Facebook account. The following session was recorded at the same spot that McNamara set the most recent (and controversial) world record for the biggest wave ever surfed and is on the heels of yet another controversial wipeout involving Greg Long at Cortes Bank.
We look forward to checking out the rest of the images as they surface. And hats off to these fellas for pushing the boundaries of human limits.
