You generally wouldn’t associate Chris Burkard with “small.” His larger-than-life photography extends far beyond the edges of his images, often transporting us to the remote, far-off lands. Therein lies his talent — the ability to offer us a glimpse into a world we wouldn’t have experienced otherwise, whatever our lens’s dimensions are.
His latest exhibition, A Gallery for Ants, is exactly what it sounds like: an ant-sized gallery, with framed photos only a few inches in size.
