The Inertia

It’s really easy to look for far off places to travel and surf. The grass always seems greener, with the hope of better waves, bigger swells, and even warmer water anywhere but home. But in the northeast of Scotland there are plenty of gems and empty waves to be found if you’re willing to look.

I’m a surf photographer swimming around Aberdeen (the only one as far as I know). I document the varied and stunning coastline of Scotland. Raw, cold, and beautiful. I couldn’t ask for a better playground. Here are some of those images from the last few months.
