What a day, what a day. What a day for professional surfing! Naysayers, hush, because the Billabong Pro Tahiti served up drama and conditions that only professional surfing executed at its best can provide. We cringed, gasped, and slammed things on our desks, and all we’re left with is the memories. Of John John Florence and Kelly Slater trading perfect waves ten seconds into the Semi-Final. Of Gabriel Medina laying down the law.
