Kai Kai Alcala lives in the Philippines, and he has to be one of the happiest kids ever. He’s also turning into quite the little ripper on all sorts of boards.
“Kai Kai is my girlfriend’s son,” wrote Kyron Rathbone. “He learned to surf before he could swim, and spends most of his free time either on a surfboard or on a skateboard.” The little ripper has surfing in his blood. “Kai Kai’s mom has been the Philippine National Surfing Champion five times,” Rathbone continued, “and her brother is the 3-time Cloud 9 International Masters Champion.”
Kai Kai’s got a smile that bodes well for a future full of happiness… and how could he not, when he spends so much time doing what he loves?
