Tom Veiga is a 30-year old Brazilian artist whose work has a very personal language, characterized by vivid colors and lots of movement. He tries to reflect the maximum vision of the waves using a minimalist approach, simple lines, and solid colors. He believes that this simplicity is the perfect union between design and waves. The goal of his art is to show that each wave is different; each wave has a shape, a color, a movement that is completely distinct.
Veiga is the father of two sons and works as an artist/designer in Brazil. He has worked for various advertising agencies as an art director to design campaigns, websites, and companies, and has held exhibitions all over Brazil. His work has been featured on websites and in journals worldwide as well as by environmental protection groups like Save the Waves, Ocean Artist Society, and Surfrider Foundation.
