The past two weeks have been a blur. I feel like something of this magnitude couldn’t be real. When I was younger growing up on the beach I thought that was the end of the world. To be exact, I thought Manasquan Inlet was the ending zone. Across the inlet was a completely different world to me. How do you explain to someone that you’ve lost every childhood memory, every heartbreak, every fight, everything with the people you’ve met over the last 26 years?
I didn’t think people really change. You just go with the motions your dealt. Sandy, you’ve really given me a whole new perspective on life. Despite all of the devastation you brought our way, in the end, the amount of support we’ve received so far, is nothing short of inspirational. There really might be hope for the human race after all..
