Dolphins are a bit like surfers in that they seem to be aroused simply by frolicking in the ocean. You can see the pure joy in their behavior, especially on those warm, sunny days. Sometimes, however, these amiable little creatures get a bit too carried away.
While on a boat excursion in Mexico, a group of tourists were treated to a pod of dolphins playing in the water when an unexpected visitor came aboard. The dolphin is seen jerking and twisting, slowly suffocating as the passengers helplessly watch on.
After a few moments of anxiety, a tour guide from another boat jumped into action, demanding wet towels to be put over the frightened dolphin. “It’s heavy!” one of the guides exclaimed. “One more!” Another passenger stepped in to help and the other men, eventually releasing the dolphin back into the ocean. Although the animal appeared to be unharmed, it sure made for a few terrifying seconds. And good on the guys who saved it.
