Melbourne's, Jack O'Shea is currently working in Kiribati, improving healthcare systems. An avid surfer in the tepid waters of Victoria, he is also involved with the Kiribati Surfing Association (KSA) attempting to sustainably influence the beginnings of surfing tourism throughout its 33 islands and atolls of the equatorial Pacific country. Blending a myriad of experiences from surfing expeditions through India, America, Fiji, Vanuatu, Australia and now Kiribati, Jack blends creative writing and poetry to establish an image in the reader's mind that rings true of familiarity and exploration.
