Eric Gietzen surfed his first wave on a cold November swell almost 30 years ago at Atwater Beach in Shorewood, Wisconsin. Since then, he has searched for perfect waves around the world, discovering that nothing quite compares to cheering friends and family into chest high, glassy Lake Michigan waves. When not surfing, Eric can be found walking his dog or teaching English at Shorewood High School, home of the mighty Greyhounds.
